Priority date for spouse with non-Indian citizenship?

My wife is a Seychelles citizen, not by birth so hence I wonder about the cross chargeability. Since i am an Indian citizen what happens to the priority date? and what does it mean for the green card process? Would you be having any information about future prospects for Indian citizen in this matter.

Priority dates are based on country of birth, not citizenship. So, if your wife was born in India, then her priority date is the same as yours and is not current for EB-2 categories.
