Governance

The brand is not a licence. This page sets out which entity practises in each jurisdiction, how unauthorised-practice rules are respected, how the two review levels are kept honest, and how conflicts, AI use and complaints are handled.

Where the law restricts who may give legal advice, LegalMatrix describes its workflow-draft product as document preparation, and advice is given only by the licensed reviewer within the engagement. The practising entity and the reviewer's jurisdiction are stated in every engagement.

Review-integrity policy

  • A document is labelled lawyer-reviewed only when a lawyer admitted in the stated jurisdiction has revised it and recorded their name, admission and date on it and in the matter.
  • A workflow draft carries a visible label stating that it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not legal advice.
  • No reviewer signs more documents in a day than they can read; routing enforces a cap.
  • Reviewers may reject a draft back to the workflow; the rejection is logged.
  • Filings are made only by a registered practitioner or agent of record; LegalMatrix never files in its own name.

Policies

  • Conflicts: checked at intake against all group matters; group companies (GoGoTrust, WG Global, Magellan Global) are disclosed as related parties and you may ask for an independent reviewer.
  • AI: used for drafting and consistency; disclosed in engagement terms; client documents are not used to train models; a licensed professional signs off every lawyer-reviewed document.
  • Confidentiality: data shared with GoGoTrust only for matters you open; regional residency; audit trail.
  • Professional indemnity: maintained by each practising entity and partner firm; limits stated on request.
  • Complaints: in writing to the reviewer; escalation to the group compliance lead within ten business days; regulators' details on request.
